a Pendulum Downunder...
You can only apply pendulum principles to putting if you have the right tools.
Name brand "Arc in the dark" putters are just unusable for true pendulum putting and the only solution I had was to make my own. Hmmm...... hi-tech investment cast surgical grade stainless steel putter heads with state of the art heat bonded proprietry Polymer inserts (which have to be precision faced linished), automotive grade hand painted and different versions for different applications. Now that little task kept me off the streets for a while! Even had to develop a face linisher for Polymer insert dressing.

Every application of a Pendulum has an ideal weight (not too heavy - not too
light), that swings at the bottom of the Pendulum arc.
When you apply this principle to putting, the head of a conventional putter is actually much too light ... experimentation established that nearly double the weight was ideal for the Pendulum Putting Stroke. As everyone who has ever put lead tape on their putter head knows, you get much better feel and stability from the added weight. Unfortunately the extra weight forces you to decelerate through the stroke to stop from hitting the ball too hard. If it was possible to have all the benefits of the ideal head weight and still be able to swing through with a normal Pendulum stroke, you would have the ideal solution... |

Manufacturing the Putterheads...

The Pendulum Golf putter heads are precision investment-cast
in Sydney Australia in surgical-grade stainless steel, finished with stainless
steel shot blast and satin dressed. The energy absorbing insert is a proprietary
product, which is bonded into the face of the stainless steel head using a
hot cast process and cured in a temperature controlled environment. Background
and Sight lines are painted on the club head using automotive grade paints. |
